Prayer Focus
Easyworship Team
Please
pray as we seek to establish whether we should be running Hoolefest in 2010,
or an alternative outreach in the community.
Messy
Church -
This Christmas, we are going to adapt an old Mexican tradition for our Messy
Church families.
The
families can choose to take part in the Posada Journey by ‘hosting’ a nativity
set for one evening. There will also be a special Posada board game for the
children, a Posada prayer and nativity story book. It is our way of reaching
out to the Messy Church families with the real message of Christmas.
How
can you help? After
the family has hosted the nativity, they will receive a knitted sheep to keep
as a memento of the Posada journey. A
number of the members of Senior Residents have been busy knitting sheep
already but we need more! If you can help, or know someone who can knit,
please talk to Helen Ellis. There is more information and knitting
patterns for the sheep at the back of church.
New website
- If you are a group leader and you haven't yet sent in the information you
would like included on our website, please can you do so as soon as possible.
The two work based learning students from Chester University are working hard
and are now ready to add content to the pages. If you aren't sure what
information is needed, please speak to Elaine. If you would like help writing
the information, please speak to Penny. We also want to add photos to our web
pages, so expect a visit from Elaine!
