Some information about the rooms available for hire in our centre

Our Church Centre is available for both Church and Community with many different groups and individuals using the centre for a variety of reasons. These range from children's parties, A.G.M's, training days, dancing classes to National conferences and wedding receptions. 

We have six rooms (all names after birds in the Bible) available for hire which will suit almost any occasion! 

The Main Hall 

8.5m x 18.5m - will hold up to 120 people.** 

A large, light, airy room, which has suspended globe lighting, curtains, and smooth 'rubberised' flooring.  It can be used on its own or in conjunction with two smaller rooms which lead off the hall.

It has direct access and a hatch to the kitchen. There is a fire exit, power points and an Induction Loop facility. 

Swallow Room 

7.4m x 3.5m which will accommodate 6-12 people.** 

A light and airy room. There is patio door out to the orchard. Two thirds carpeted and the other third hard surface. This room has its own entrance with access to a disabled toilet, shower and baby change facility. 

Dove Room 

3.5m x 7.8m - will accommodate 12-20 people.** 

A light calming room with a bay window overlooking the car park. This room is good for small informal meetings and has six tub chairs for comfort. With these removed however it can be used by many more people. 

Eagle 1 & 2 

Two separate rooms or one larger room! 

Eagle 1: 5.5m x 6.6m -will accommodate 24 people. ** 

Eagle 2: 6mx8.10m- will accommodate 35 people. **

Combined will accommodate 60 people. 

There is a dividing 'door' which goes between these two rooms. It provides a very good sound barrier but is only hired out as separate rooms to the same group.

Both these rooms are colourful and cheerful, fully carpeted with 'blackout' lined curtains.  Eagle 2 has a hatch from the kitchen, which is useful if refreshments are being served. 

Sparrow Room

 5.5m x 6m will accommodate 12 people.** 

This room is used as the church's crèche room and is decorated accordingly. The window looks out onto Hoole Road and additional light is provided by a skylight. 

There is also an exposed sandstone wall being part of the church building. This room is fully carpeted and very jolly!

Raven Room 

5.5m x 6.4m- will accommodate 25-30 people.** 

This room is nearest to the main body of the church itself. Unlike the other rooms this is windowless and the only natural light is provided by a skylight with an extractor fan. It is fully carpeted and like Sparrow has a nice exposed sandstone wall. This room is heated by wall mounted electric fan heaters. 

All other rooms are centrally heated are double glazed and curtained. 

Kitchen 

A very good sized kitchen which is set up to the very highest standard. All units and worktops are stainless steel.  There is a catering microwave oven, an electric cooker, a further catering oven and hob, a toaster and automatic water boiler. There is a commercial dishwasher for larger events. 

Crockery and cutlery are provided but hirers do need to provide their own washing up liquid, dishcloths and tea towels.  A black bin sack is provided along with a pink, plastics recycling bag but if more than this is likely to be required, again, we ask you to bring them.
