Pathfinders and TFN

Leaders : Tim D. Jon P. Juliet E.

We aim to present pre-teenagers with the challenge of having a personal Christian faith in contemporary society.

Age range: The group is for ages 11+ to 14+ (school years 7 to Year 10).

Where & When:
The group meets in the Church Centre during the 10.45am Sunday morning service (except Family Services where children stay in Church for the whole time).

Dropping Off: Children leave for their groups approximately 15 minutes into the service.

Collection:
Except in communion services (where the children come back into the service just before the ‘bread and wine’ are administered) parents collect their children from the group after the service.

TFN (The Friday Nights)

‘TFN’ is a fortnightly event where a team of us work in discipling and fellowshipping with 11-14 year olds. We do this through, teaching, discussion, worship and fellowship.

Having started two years ago we have recently taken a change in leadership. We have become closer linked with Hoole Baptist Church and now Andy Avery co leading the group with Jon Phillips.

One of this group’s goals is to be a bridge for non-Christians and Christians to be together in a safe setting and to learn more about the Christian faith and apply it to their lives.

We have seen a number of non-Christian youth attend and continue to attend this group which is a real gift from God.

We see between 10 and 15 youth at each event.
