‘The
B-It Theatre Company’ has now been running for three and a half years! We
run three workshops every Saturday from 9.30-1 for three separate age
groups: 6-11s, 11-14s & 14-18s. They have performed, Twelfth Night the
year before last and last year ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’. This year we
are presently working on a production of ‘The God Mother’
We have thirty young people coming every week over half of which are
not Christians but are getting the opportunity to learn about how great they
are in God’s eyes and to learn new and helpful skills in acting and social
skills. The
Adult company has also done performances round the secondary schools at
Christmas and continues to do assemblies and run drama workshops at Kingsway. The Company is taking a fallow term for the Summer but will be re-opening in September.
